Situated in the heart of the Castelli Romani in Rocca di Papa, our Location rises on the slopes of Monte Cavo-where the Via Sacra that in Roman times led to the Ancient Temple of Jupiter Latino creeps in-and between the Lakes of Nemi and Castelgandolfo.
It is surrounded by an enchanting natural environment that offers an enchanting view of the surrounding park. The facility is characterized by ample spaces that cover an area of at least 5 hectares of land and allow guests to find their own comforts and spend moments of relaxation and tranquility, surrounded by nature, in the comfort of cozy environments and away from the stress of the city.
The à la Carte Restaurant
Our newly renovated a la carte restaurant can accommodate your daily lunch or dinner. It offers a cozy place spread over two rooms where the combination of historicity and modernity is well present.
The comfort of the seating, the wood and precious ornaments, the neoclassical-style frames, the soft lighting, the view of the forest, and the warmth of the fireplaces that are always lit in the winter time make the restaurant’s interior the ideal place to welcome your taste experiences.
The Outdoor Gardens
The park surrounding our restaurant is a protected area of great beauty, where flora and fauna come together in an unspoiled natural environment. We are surrounded by forest greenery that allows us to offer our guests an evocative backdrop to their dining experience, amidst tall Chestnut trees, centuries-old Oaks and manicured gardens enriched with gushing fountains.
An oasis of coolness that grants a relaxing refreshment in the hot Roman summers to customers who can fully enjoy shady outdoor spaces set up with tables and seating for lunch or dinner.
The Story
Alessandro Ferri, founder of La Foresta Restaurant, began his career as an entrepreneur in the agribusiness field at a very young age and founded La Foresta Restaurant in 1966 in the very place where he used to take a regenerating break.
A magical forest for its historical relevance since Latin civilization inspired Alessandro Ferri to open his restaurant. Today La Foresta Restaurant has more than 50 years of activity, his children Antonella and Gino have made important improvements so much so as to make the restaurant refined as well as an exclusive Location for events.
